Louise Piper endorses Coulter for School Trustee
Chilliwack, BC - Outgoing school trustee Louise Piper endorsed Dan Coulter and his campaign to fight for strong, public education in Chilliwack, this week.
“I am so impressed with Dan. He’s the only candidate that has been talking about practical steps to improve completion rates in Chilliwack,” said Piper. “Every Chilliwack student deserves an equal chance, and Dan is out there advocating to make sure they get it.”
Coulter has run a campaign focused on the issues, proposing practical steps to improve completion rates and give Chilliwack students increased opportunity for success in life and in the workforce. Coulter’s ‘three pillars’ -- expanded pre-apprenticeship programs at all Chilliwack secondary schools, an IB diploma program, and expanded aboriginal education -- will help to engage students and improve completion rates.
“I’m running to fight to give Chilliwack students better opportunities,” said Coulter. “Louise’s endorsement means so much to me. She’s worked for years to improve public education in Chilliwack.”
“We need to continue to build a strong, public education system in Chilliwack - one that works for all students.”
